verse 48
In the pursuit of learning, every day something is acquired.
In the pursuit of the Tao, every day something is dropped.
When nothing is done, nothing is left undone.
The world is ruled by letting things take their course.
It cannot be ruled by interfering.
When we lose our sense of awe and wonder we slowly die.

The body rejects Meditations it tells the mind it has no time for such things, most folks think contacting a higher power means just saying a few words at night, this never worked for me. I grew up in the Sixtys, and there were some very good ideas flying around back in those days, one of them was transendental meditation In those days the world was on fire, and nothing has changed, it seems like every thing is made to stress me out, and my mind allways told me I had to do something about it. I allways have meditation to fall back on, instead of action I practice detachment, and non action to negative events, I cannot control the world only the core of peace that is inside of me. Detachment what do'es this mean, well this is an advanced state of mind one gets after meditating for some time with practice one gets better and better untill this state of mind become a constant. Detachment is simply not paying attention to things that done matter, not being offended by what other people say or do, sounds easy it's not try it. A good way to begin a practice of medatition is simple try to find a quit place early in the morning, the morning is good because thats when the energy of life is high. Now dont worry about thinking about anything, if you can set outside just before sunrise this is perfect, try to set in a comfy chair no lotus you will just give up if you try that. Ok what now relax unfocus your eyes at the horizon where the light is slowly coming up, now slowly start breathing. Breath long slow and steady dont force it, let it be easy, let the breathing come from the center of your being. Let the breathing come from the pit of your stomach, as you breath in feel the spirit and energy of the source of all living beings enter body, when you breath out feel the dark energy leave your body. I know this sounds like a lot of work but the pay off is a stillness and a peace and a connection to a power that is beyond understanding, a connection to that part of yourself where peace and understanding dwell, and it's really not that much work.

The path to God
In the Gospel of John that defines the Christian faith chapter 3 verse 16, states. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son; that whosoever believes in him, shall not perish, but may have life everlasting. Fourteen generations after the fall of Israel to Babylon, was Jesus the Christ born of a virgin, as foretold by the Angel Gabriel to Mary and Joeeph. Fortold also was the birth of John the Baptist by the same holy messenger, unto Zacharias, and Elizabeth; how she would conceive John in her old age. There is a detailed description of this in the Gospel of Luke read the first chapter. There are many references pointing
The Path to true Power
Over the years of my life I have pondered over what the meaning of true power really is, before I had any command of language, as I recall, it was the power of love. As I grew older and learned how to speak I learned the awful truth of what I thought power really was, the darkness of an unstoppable impending death. This knowledge that I learned of at a very early age was a horrible blow to my conscious mind, in my mind, before I learned this; I thought everything went on forever. Note to the reader I can recall events as far back as two years old, most folks can't remember learning about death, search your thoughts can you remember. This know
The Nobel Treasure of Patience
In life we wait, it seems for everything; and the waiting is very difficult to manage, but if people could manage their wait time their stress level would go down, and the small world would grow larger. It could be as simple as bringing a good book to a Doctors office, for me I use meditation; I also read books during down times. What is most important is to practice every opportunity to exercise the art of patience. There is an old adage that my mother, and her mother would repeat to me many times, the adage is patience is a virtue. It took me fifty eighth years to shut my mouth and pay attention to what the art of patience, could do for me.
Stalking the silent Spirit of the Tao
Once we as children become proficient in the art of language as children we start to see the world around us grow larger in leaps and bounds, now I will add the element of what I will call the handlers from the time we are born they hold great power over our lives. These are those who would be our teachers, in the beginning these teachers consist of our mothers and fathers; or anyone in the family who is older and more proficient in dialectics, until we learn the art of the false use of language we view these handlers as God like; we begin to love, than fear them. These handlers teach us the preconceived ideas that were taught to them by thos
